Ethereum-based cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask continues to take new steps to improve the user experience. In the last statement made by the company, it was stated that PayPal was opened for users in the United States.
Cryptocurrency wallet and decentralized application (DApp) provider MetaMask has announced that it has launched a new feature for users in one of the company’s largest markets, the United States. With the new feature, MetaMask users in the United States will be able to purchase Ether (ETH) via the payment platform PayPal. MetaMask claimed to be the first Web3 wallet with this new service.
With this collaboration between MetaMask and PayPal, users in the United States will be able to use PayPal payment method for their Ether purchases using MetaMask. With the partnership established, it is also possible to transfer Ethers to MetaMask via PayPal.
Long closed in our country, PayPal joins a large ecosystem of payment providers that integrate with MetaMask, including Coinbase Pay, MoonPay, Sardine, Wyre, and Transak, among others. This partnership also strengthens PayPal’s presence in the crypto space.
